Hamrun Spartans FC Youth Nursery have organised the Firetech Christmas Festival for the thirteenth consecutive year. The festival was held in the first two weeks of December. Around 300 boys and girls participated in this event. 
In line with the Youth FA policy, no winners were declared but each participant was given a team photo. Fair Play Awards were given to Kirkop (age category 1998), Tarxien (2000) and Luxol St Andrews (2002). Another award was given for the top scoring team in each category.
