One-match ban for seven Premier League players

Seven players were handed a one-match ban following the last round of the matches from the BOV Premier League.

Msida St. Joseph and Tarxien Rainbows had two players each – Kevin Mifsud and Andrew Formosa for Msida, Justin Grioli and Kurt Magro for Tarxien. The other players are Roderick Sammut (Qormi), Ivan Woods (Sliema) and Kenneth Scicluna (Valletta).

Scicluna and Sammut are ruled out of Valletta vs Qormi on Friday, Ivan Woods will be missing the game against Hibernians while Grioli and Magro are ruled out of Tarxien vs Birkirkara.

Msida duo Mifsud and Formosa are ruled out of the game against Hamrun from the Relegation Pool.

In Division 1, Mark Anthony Psaila (Mqabba) was banned for one match while Glenn Brincat (Senglea) and
Clayton Gatt (Zurrieq) were banned for one match in Division 2.
