Malta climbs four places in FIFA Ranking

Despite not playing any matches over the past month, Malta managed to climb four places in FIFA/Coca-Cola World Ranking and is now 154th.

However, among the other European countries, Malta is still ranked 51st. Lying just ahead of Malta are the Faroe Islands (125), Luxembourg (127), Kazakhstan (129) and Liechtenstein (148, up 3). On the other hand, the only two countries lying behind Malta are Andorra (201) and San Marino (202).

Malta will be in action once again next month in a friendly match against Germany on May 13.
