Shaun Bajada wins Footballer of the Year Award

Shaun Bajada is the winner of the MFA Footballer of the Year award for season 2009/10. The winner was announced during the MFA Annual Awards Ceremony which was held at The Grand Ballroom, Radisson Blu Resort, St. Julian’s on Friday.

Bajada, who is only the first Birkirkara player to win the award, claimed the coveted trophy ahead of Trevor Cilia (Birkirkara) and Denni Rocha Dos Santos (Tarxien Rainbows).

The other finalists were Gilbert Agius (Valletta) and Kevin Sammut (Valletta).
