After succesful stints coaching different youth levels and at Lija Athletic, Pietà Hotspurs, Sliema Wanderers and San Gwann, former Zurrieq FC defender and UEFA A Licence holder Brian Spiteri has returned to Zurrieq to coach the first team.

Addressing the players during the first meeting, Spiteri emphasised the importance of the collectivity of the group, as well as laid out a detailed pre-season calendar to be followed in the coming weeks.

Spiteri will be assisted by first team regular Jason Saliba as Assistant, as well as by club veteran Mark Farrugia who will be taking care of goalkeepers’ training.

Gorg Magri has also been appointed as Under-19 Coach, a finishing touch to a revamped setup at the club.
