UEFA appointments for Maltese officials

Maltese officials have received appointments for the UEFA Under-17 Championship qualifying round mini-tournament and the UEFA Women’s Champions League.

FIFA Referee Clayton Pisani has been appointed to officiate in a European Under-17 Championship 2011 Qualifying Round Group 13 mini-tournament in Spain from the 16th to the 21st of October 2010.
He will be accompanied by FIFA Assistant Referee Edward Spiteri.

The teams taking part with hosts Spain will be Finland, Moldova and Russia.
Messrs Clayton Pisani and Edward Spiteri will be involved in these three matches:
• On the 16th, Russia – Finland at the Guillermo Amor Stadium in Benidorm. (Mr Pisani will be the referee).
• On the 18th, Russia – Moldova at the Guillermo Amor Stadium in Benidorm. (Mr Pisani will be the referee).
• On the 21st, Spain – Russia at the Guillermo Amor Stadium in Benidorm. (Mr Pisani will be the fourth official).

FIFA Referee Esther Azzopardi Farrugia has been appointed to officiate in a UEFA Women’s Champions League 2010/2011, Round of 32 (2nd Leg) match between Brondby IF (Denmark) and RTP Unia Raciborz (Poland) to be played in Brondby (Denmark) on Wednesday 13 October 2010.

The other members of the refereeing team accompanying her are FIFA Assistant Referee Philip Agius, and Thomas Debono. Ms Betina Norman (Denmark FA) will act as Fourth Official.
