Wanderers target third successive win — Match transferred to V. Tedesco Stadium

Sliema Wanderers will be aiming for a third successive win on Monday as they take on Qormi in Monday’s BOV Premier League match at the Victor Tedesco Stadium, kick-off at 19:30.

The match was originally scheduled at the National Stadium but was transferred to the V. Tedesco Stadium.

The Wanderers lost the first game against Birkirkara but following a draw with Marsaxlokk, they defeated Hamrun Spartans and Vittoriosa in their last two outings.

Qormi, on the other hand, won two games and lost two. They lost to Hamrun and Valletta, defeating Vittoriosa Stars and Tarxien Rainbows. Last Monday, they turned defeat into victory to beat the Rainbows 2-1.

Beppe Muscat is ruled out through suspension while Alex Muscat, Clayton Failla and Steve Bezzina are all ruled out injured. Qormi, on the other hand, will be lacking LUke Sciberras.
