The Hamrun Spartans committee analysed the team’s current position in the BOV Premier League table and the team’s performance so far during a meeting which was held on Monday.

In a statement, the club said: “The club is giving full trust to our Coach Mr. Steve D’Amato, in his post as Head Coach of Hamrun Spartans F.C. The Committee is fully confident in the capabilities of Mr. D’Amato and is declaring our total backing for the good work Mr. D’Amato is doing at the Club.”

“We all believe that this squad can break the ice through many years of sacrifices,” concludes the statement.
