Birzebbuga St. Peter’s and Zebbug Rangers maintained their challenge for promotion to Division 1 as they both registered wins on Sunday.

Birzebbuga defeated Gzira United 3-2 while Zebbug beat Mgarr United 4-0.

Zejtun lead the way with 26 points, followed by Mellieha on 25, Rabat and Naxxar on 22, Birzebbuga 21, Zebbug and St. Patrick 16, Gzira 14, Senglea 13, San Gwann 11, Zurrieq 9 and Mgarr 4.
