Tarxien Rainbows Nursery recently held the third instructional meeting for all its staff coaches.

Mr Mark Farrugia a Nutrition analyst at the Chemistry Section within the Public Health Sector in the Ministry of Health delivered a presentation on nutrition for developing sport talent. The proper recovery in sport depends on adequate balance of training loads, rest (including sleep) and specialised nutrition as from young ages.

During the meeting, Mr. Michael Degiorgio UEFA ‘A’ Licenced Nursery Head-Coach and co-ordinator of the meeting thanked all those present for their input during the meeting and emphasized on the way this nutritional programme is to be addressed to all the nursery kids and parents.
