Two Premier League players suspended

Two Premier League players Justin Grioli of Tarxien and Jamie Pace of Valletta were handed a one-match ban after being sent off during the weekend.

Grioli is ruled out of the game against Hamrun Spartans while Pace will be missing the game against Floriana next Sunday.

In Division 1, Roderick Briffa (Dingli) was banned for one match.

Matthew Borg (Birzebbuga) was suspended for two matches in Division 2 while Josef Felice and Keith Bonello (Gzira), Malcolm Bugeja, Chris Tabone and William Camilleri (Mgarr), Gareth Magri (Senglea) and David Mamo (St. Patrick) were all handed a one-match ban.

In Division 3, Darik Mohammed Abdalla, Cedric Zahra and Giorgio Cumbo (Mtarfa) and Dino Falzon (Sta. Lucia) were suspended for one match. Mtarfa coach Joe Galea was banned for two matches while Marsa kit-manager Paul Caruana was banned for eight months.

In the Youth league, Donovan Micallef and Lydon Micallef (Balzan), Justin Callus and Daniel Sapiano (Kirkop), Matteo Desira Buttigieg, John Paul Calleja and Michael Johnson (St. Andrews), Wail Rizgalla (Valletta) and Raymond Attard (Zurrieq) were banned for one match while Larson Cauchi (St. George’s) was suspended for two matches.
