Maltese football has recently been officially licensed with a Coerver Coaching License. This concept of Football Coaching methods were brought over by Claude Chetcuti. This good news comes both for the technical aspect of the game as now coaches can always keep abreast and adopt these methods in their nurseries and to boys and girls wanting to improve their football abilities.

The first activities, both technical and in real practice were conducted by Mr. Brad Douglass – Technical Director of Coerver Coaching. While visiting Malta between the 13 and 19 April 2011, he conducted various training sessions at the Sliema Wanderers, Birkirkara and Hamrun Spartans Football Nurseries.

He also presented two Coaching Clinics one in Malta and another in Gozo. Mr Douglass managed to meet with the Malta Coaches Association, Malta FA and Gozo FA to discuss how Coerver Coaching Malta can help these organizations.

An interview with Mr. Douglas was also held by Mr Chris Cauchi presenter of one of the renowned tv sports program on TVM ‘Ghas-Servizz ta’ L-Isport’.

Coerver Coaching Football School training sessions for boys and girls between the age 5 and 15 years old will be starting next June, these training sessions are designed to cover an array of technical exercises designed by Coever and used all over the world by leading academies.
