Balzan Youths will be seeking the double on Friday as they take on Dingli Swallows in the final of the Maltco Lotteries First Division Knock-Out at the Hibernians Stadium, kick-off at 19:00.

Champions Balzan finished second in Group 1 after draws with Lija Athletic and Mosta, a 3-1 win over Melita and a 2-0 win over Msida St. Joseph. In the semi-finals, they beat Group 2 winners Mqabba 2-0.

Dingli, on the other hand, ended as runners-up in Group 2. They lost to Mqabba 0-3 but then defeated St. George’s 2-1, drew 1-1 with St. Andrews and beat Pietà 1-0. The Swallows beat Lija Athletic 3-2 in the semi-finals.

Balzan beat Dingli twice this season – 2-0 and 4-1.
