Brazilian midfielder Ricardo Costa will be playing for Tarxien Rainbows once again next season after the club renewed his contract for another year.

In his first season with the club, Ricardo left a very good impression as he scored eight goals in twenty-five league matches and another four in the FA Trophy.

The Brazilian midfielder said “I’m very proud of being part of this team once again. Tarxien Rainbows is the best team on the island for a foreigner to play, due to the care, respect and treatment given by the club members and supporters.”

“I hope that next season, we can take the club to European football and win an honour. I’m absolutely sure that we have the conditions to be one of the best teams in Malta,” said Ricardo Costa.

Ricardo is therefore the third foreign player to be confirmed after Daniel Mariano Bueno and Everton Antonio Pereira.
