Tarxien Rainbows Under-16 Girls wrote history for the club when they managed to clinch the MFA Under-16 Second Division League title.

It was a remarkable season for these girls which under the coaching techniques and skills of Mr. Leslie Camilleri showed the improvement they achieved in this season. They managed to beat the likes of Hamrun, Pieta, Kirkop, Santa Lucia and Mgarr and drew with Melita thus securing the Second Division title on 22 points just one point ahead of Santa Lucia.

In their final match of the season, a hard fought game with Mgarr, Tarxien emerged as winners, beating them 1-0 to secure the league championship.

Kim Magro was also the top scorer of the Second Division League with a remarkable tally of 13 goals.
