Mqabba FC Youth Nursery will once again be organising the Football Summer School 2011 at the Mqabba Sports and Training Complex. The Summer School starts on Tuesday 5th July 2011 till 10th August 2011 from 5:30 till 6:30pm while sessions will be held on Tuesdays and Wednesdays for twelve consecutive sessions.

Attendants will be split in different groups of 12 children each under the supervision of qualified coaching staff. During this 6 week programme all boys and girls will cover various football skills as follows:

Week 1 5-6 July 2011 Ball Mastery & Feints
Week 2 12-13 July 2011 Turning with the Ball
Week 3 19-20 July 2011 Passing and Receiving
Week 4 26-27 July 2011 Shooting and Finishing
Week 5 2-3 August 2011 Dribbling and 1vs1
Week 6 9 August 2011 2vs2 and 3vs3 games
Week 6 Final day 10 Aug 11 FUN WATER GAMES

Apart these football skills children and youths will enjoy themselves in related fun games especially during the final session which includes various fun water games. The youngest age groups will be having related fun games throughout the Summer School. Goalkeepers Summer School will be every Wednesday from 5.00 – 6.00pm, and will be held by Roderick Agius, our Nursery Goalkeepers’ Coach and ex-Premier Division Goalkeeper.

The Mqabba FC Youth Nursery Summer School will be under the continuous supervision of Nursery Head Coach Mark Bondin (UEFA B) and Technical Director Jimmy Briffa (UEFA A), who will be assisted by other, qualified Nursery coaches so that during training sessions, every boy and girl will have individual attention.

The Mqabba FC Youth Nursery Summer School 2011 is open for all boys and girls born between 2006 and 1997. Summer School fee will be €50 which includes a FREE Adidas football for each child and a FREE T-shirt. For further information kindly contact us on 79094462 or on admin@mqabbafcyn.org.
