Bogdanovic attracting interest from clubs in League Championship

Despite Sheffield United’s relegation to League One, Malta international striker Daniel Bogdanovic could stay in the League Championship as he is currently attracting the interest of a number of clubs.

According to a report by Skysports.com, a number of Championship clubs are chasing Bogdanovic on a free transfer.

The report states that the Blades are ready to let the Malta international leave on a free transfer as they look to trim their wage bill in wake of their relegation to League One.

Bogdanovic only moved to Bramall Lane last summer from Barnsley, but the striker struggled to hold down a regular place in the side.

The Blades are expected to lose a number of their top players this summer and Bogdanovic’s availability on a free transfer has alerted several sides including Ipswich Town, Burnley and Peterborough, according to the report.
