The Sliema Wanderers Football Nursery has kept on its activities, busy even during the summer months with a football summer camp for boys and girls between the ages of 5 and 12. Evening training sessions are being powered by the Coerver method to ensure that each boy and girl attending is given top approved technical skills, making each session fun and above all educational.

Each age group is attending the club twice a week in small groups, with individual attention maximizing each and every session.

A pre-season seminar for all the coaching staff was held on the 14th July. Detailed program and required preparations for the new season and the Nursery’s code of conduct for coaches was presented by Head Coaches Claude Chetcuti and Martin Sacco.

The nursery is opened daily even during the summer between 6pm and 8pm for all new boys and girls aged 4 and over to enroll for the 2011/12 season.
