The BOV Premier League 2011/12 will kick-off on Friday 19th August with the match Birkirkara vs Qormi, kick-off at 18:30. This game will be followed by Sliema Wanderers vs Hibernians at 20:30. Both matches will be played at the National Stadium.
The programme for the weekend continues with two matches at the Hibernians Stadium on Saturday and another two at the National Stadium on Sunday. All the BOV Premier League fixtures were released on Wednesday.
On Saturday 20, Marsaxlokk and Floriana take on newly-promoted Mosta and Mqabba respectively at the Hibernians Stadium while on Sunday 21, First Division champions Balzan face Hamrun Spartans and champions Valletta take on Tarxien Rainbows.
The only breaks will be due to the national team playing during the same weekend or for the FA Trophy. Another break will be due to the Christmas and New Year.
The Hibernians Stadium and the Victor Tedesco Stadium will be used throughout the season and not as from October/November as it was the case so far.
