In their bid to make a quick return to the Premier League, First Division side Vittoriosa Stars continued to strengthen their squad with the signing of two Brazilian players.

The players are attacking midfielder Tassio Lopes Ferreira and defensive midfielder Leon Dos Santos. The latter is the brother of Valletta striker Denni Dos Santos.

Vittoriosa Stars have also signed goalkeeper Jean Matthias Vella from San Gwann. Vella signed a three-year contract with the club.
