Swiss midfielder for Hamrun Spartans

Hamrun Spartans secured the services of Swiss midfielder Carlo Polli.

The twenty-one year old played for Lugano in Switzerland before moving to Genoa in Italy. With the Rossoblu, Polli won the Coppa Italia Primavera and the Super Coppa Italiana Primavera.

He spent the last two years on loan with Swiss clubs FC Locarno and FC Chiasso.

The Spartans had earlier secured the services of Brazilian forward Anderson Mendes Ribeiro, Nigerian striker Joseph Okonkwo, Croatian defender Nikica Gacesa, Gianluca Calabretta from Tarxien, goalkeeper Omar Borg from Birkirkara, Kevin Sammut from Valletta and now Matthew Gauci on loan from Hibernians.
