Futsal national team loses to Greece

The Malta national Futsal team lost 2-5 to Greece in the second game from the Malta International Futsal Tournament which is being held at the Corradino Pavilion.

Clint Cope put Malta ahead on the 2nd minute but Apostolos Gkaifyllias levelled matters on the 4th. Two minutes from the end of the first half, Greece took the lead thanks to a goal by Vasileios Assimakopoulos.

Goals by Apostolos Poulimenos on 26 and 35 minutes put Greece 4-1 ahead and Sokratis Mourdoukoutas added another on 37 minutes. Xavier Saliba reduced the gap for Malta in the final minute.
