Hibernians striker Edison Luis Dos Santos netted the first BOV Player of the Month Award for season 2011/12.

Dos Santos inspired Hibernians’ 2-1 victory over Marsaxlokk by netting the Paolites’ first goal and an inspirational performance as the BOV Player of the Match. In the first game, he notched a brace in the 3-3 draw with Sliema Wanderers.

Bank of Valletta Manager Marketing Charles Azzopardi presented the BOV Player of the Month Trophy for August 2011 to Dos Santos at the Bank’s Head Office in Santa Venera.

The Hibernians striker chose Puttinu Cares to benefit from the donation associated with this award.
