Greens target fourth win

Floriana will be aiming at obtaining their fourth win on Friday as they take on Marsaxlokk in one of the two matches in programme on Friday.

Floriana defeated Mqabba, Tarxien and Hamrun Spartans, losing their only points in a defeat to Sliema Wanderers. Marsaxlokk, on the other hand, collected four points in a win over Mosta and a draw with Marsaxlokk, losing the other two games to Hibernians and Mqabba.

Trevor Templeman will be back after serving a two-match ban but Clive Brincat is still ruled out through suspension. Floriana are expected to be in full strength.

In the second match, Hamrun Spartans take on Qormi.

The Spartans lie at the bottom of the table with just one point thanks to a draw with Tarxien Rainbows and are coming from a 0-1 defeat to Floriana.

Qormi, on the other hand, are currently sixth on six points thanks to wins over Balzan Youths and Tarxien Rainbows.

Daniel Nwoke is set to make his debut for Stephen Azzopardi’s side after arriving in Malta early this week.
