Vittoriosa Stars registered their second win in the BOV First Division as they beat Zejtun Corinthians 2-0 thanks to two goals in the second half.

Vittoriosa and Pietà Hotspurs are therefore the only teams with maximum points from two matches.

Adam Spiteri put them ahead on 55 minutes and Josef Dalli doubled the score seven minutes later.

In another match, Naxxar Lions and St. Patrick earned their first point as they shared the spoils in a 1-1 draw.

Blendi Gockaj put the Saints ahead after just two minutes with Darren Falzon equalising on the 14th.
