Nine Premier League players suspended

Valletta midfielder Ryan Fenech was handed a three-match ban while Pedro Dos Santos Calcado of Balzan Youths and Valletta captain Gilbert Agius were suspended for two matches by the MFA Disciplinary Commissioner after being sent off during the weekend.

Anderson Mendes Ribeiro (Hamrun), Adrian Pulis (Hibs), Clifford Gatt Baldacchino (Sliema), Orosco Anonam and Justin Grioli (Tarxien) and Steve Borg (Valletta) were banned for one match.

Ryan Fenech, Gilbert Agius and Steve Borg are ruled out of the game against Mqabba with Agius and Fenech also missing the clash with Birkirkara. Ryan Fenech will also miss the derby against Floriana.

Pedro Calcado is ruled out of the games against Sliema and Floriana while Gatt Baldacchino is ruled out of Sliema vs Balzan.

Pulis, Anonam and Grioli will be missing the derby Hibernians vs Tarxien while Ribeiro will be unavailable for Hamrun in the game against Mosta.

Jean Paul Scerri (Lija) was handed a one-match ban in Division 1 while Gordon Said (Mgarr) was suspended for one game in Division 3.

In the Youth League, Edward Azzopardi and Jean Claude Cachia (Attard), Lydon Vella (Fgura), Dylan Sammut (Hibs), Ryan Manuel Vella (Mellieha) and Terence Agius (Pietà) were banned for one game while Mellieha coach Joseph Aquilina was suspended for four matches.
