Three Premier League players suspended

Balzan defender Clifton Ciantar, Mosta’s Yannick Ossok and Tarxien striker Daniel Mariano Bueno were handed a one-match ban by the MFA Disciplinary Commissioner following the seventh round of matches from the BOV Premier League.

Ciantar and Bueno are ruled out of the clash between Tarxien and Balzan while Ossok will be missing the game against Sliema.

In Division 1, Renato Garcia Conceicao (Lija) and Josef Dalli (Vittoriosa) were banned for one match while William Camilleri (Mgarr), Kevin Cassar (San Gwann), John Algebre (Senglea) and Joseph Lia (Zurrieq) were handed a one-match ban in Division 2. Darren Grech (Senglea) was suspended for two matches.

In Division 3, Adam Wingfield was suspended for five matches, Martin Portelli (Fgura) and Jean Paul Ciantar (Mtarfa) was banned for two. Gianluca Vella and Jonathan Grech (Sirens) and Antoine Muscat (Xghajra) were suspended for one match.
