Mellieha held Gudja United in a 1-1 draw in a match from the BOV Second Division at the Centenary Stadium on Friday.

Gudja take sole leadership with 15 points, followed by Gzira on 14 and Mellieha 13. The Maroons however have a game in hand.

Thiago Loquete put Mellieha ahead on 21 minutes but Elton Bugeja levelled matters on 69 minutes.

Gharghur are fourth on 11 points, followed by Kirkop on 10, Siggiewi and St. Venera 9, Luqa 8, San Gwann, Zebbug and Msida 6, Attard 5, Zurrieq and Senglea 3.
