Mqabba, Hamrun eye precious points

Mqabba and Hamrun Spartans will both be all out to claim the three points on Thursday as the two teams cross swords in a clash from the BOV Premier League at the Victor Tedesco Stadium.

The Reds are currently joint-seventh on eleven points, three ahead of the Spartans who are currently second from bottom.

After losing to Hibernians and Tarxien, Mqabba could only earn a point in a draw with Mosta in their last outing. However a major boost will be the return of Serbian striker Bojan Mamic who missed the last two games as he was serving a two-match ban. Pierre Grima is ruled out as he is suspended.

The Spartans, on the other hand, disappointed hugely in a 5-3 defeat to Marsaxlokk after holding Hibernians in a 1-1 draw the previous week. No Hamrun player is suspended but Roderick Fenech and Steve Bonnici are ruled out injured.
