Torino arrive in Malta for one-week training camp

Italian Serie B side Torino FC arrived in Malta on Tuesday for a one-week training camp during which they will also take part in the Trofeo Portomasolive.com

The Serie B leaders had their first training session at the MFA Training Grounds on Tuesday afternoon under the guidance of coach Gianpiero Ventura.

Wednesday’s morning session at the Centenary Stadium and MFA Training Grounds will be open to the public.

Serie A side Catania are expected to arrive in Malta on Thursday for another one-week training camp and to take part in the triangular tournament.

The Trofeo Portomasolive.com will be held on Friday, kick-off at 18:30 with the game between Qormi and Torino. Hibernians take on Catania at 19:30.

The losers face each other in the final for 3rd and 4th place at 20:30 while the winners meet in the final at 21:30.
