Daniel Bogdanovic joins Rochdale on loan and scores on debut

Malta international striker Daniel Bogdanovic joined League One side Rochdale on a 28 day emergency loan from Blackpool, scoring on his debut in a 1-1 draw with Preston North End on Monday.

The Malta striker notched the equaliser on 25 minutes, enabling The Dale to earn a point.

Bogdanovic had joined Blackpool this summer but made only eight appearances, scoring twice in a 5-0 win over Bristol City last October.

Rochdale are currently second from bottom in League One.

The 31 year old had earlier played for Barnsley and Sheffield United in England.
