Tarxien Rainbows have reached an agreement with Marsaxlokk FC over the definite transfer of Malta international defender Carlo Mamo.

Carlo Mamo is expected to sign an eighteen-month contract with the Rainbows with a further option for the club on the extension of the contract.

Mamo had started his career with Tarxien, moving to Sliema Wanderers in 2000/01 after spending one year on loan with Birkirkara. In summer 2004, he moved to Marsaxlokk. In January 2010, he spent five months on loan with Birkirkara once again.

Carlo Mamo could make his debut for Tarxien on Friday should the prohibition by the MFA on Marsaxlokk be lifted in time.
