Jamie Pace joins Balzan Youths on loan — New foreigners for Valletta

Following the departure of Dyson Falzon, destination Mosta, another two Valletta players are moving elsewhere as midfielder Jamie Pace joined Balzan Youths on loan till the end of the season while Brazilian defender Ramon Dos Santos moved to First Division side Vittoriosa Stars.

Pace has been playing for the Citizens for the past four years after joining the club from Marsaxlokk. he made his Premier League debut with Pieta Hotspurs in 2001, joining Sliema Wanderers in 2003. In January 2004, he joined the Citizens on loan till the end of the season. The following summer, Pace moved to Marsaxlokk.

Lucas Ramon Dos Santos has been playing in Malta for the past four years after joining Qormi in summer 2008. He joined Valletta in June 2010.

In the mean time, Valletta will be having new foreigners in squad.

Argentine midfielder Nahuel Pulitano Jimenez and Slovenian striker Miha Robic are expected to make their debut this weekend in the game against Sliema Wanderers.

Jimenez has been playing for A.S.D. Città di Marino – the team led by president Antonio Esposito who is now also the director general of Valletta.

A third new foreigner could be Italian defender Filippo Andrea Scozzese who is also a player of Città di Marino.
