Pietà Hotspurs regained sole leadership in the BOV First Division despite being held in a goalless draw by Zejtun Corinthians.

The Hotspurs move one point ahead of Rabat Ajax while Zejtun join Melita in third place on twenty points, one ahead of St. Andrews.

In another match, Naxxar Lions returned to winning ways as they defeated St. George’s 5-0.

A win which puts Winston Muscat’s side in joint-sixth place together with Dingli Swallows.

Darren Falzon notched a hat-trick with Mattia Del Negro and Hallison Di Lima Siqueira scoring the other two goals.

Dingli and Naxxar are now sixth on 14 points followed by Birzebbuga on 13, Vittoriosa and Lija 9, St. George’s and St. Patrick 8.
