Balzan Youths’ Pedro Dos Santos Calcado is the BOV Player of the Month of January.

The Brazilian striker, affectionately known as Pedrinho was an essential asset for Balzan to remain unbeaten in their three outings during the month of January and to consolidate their contention for a slot in the BOV Championship Pool.

With two goals in Balzan’s 2-2 draw against Mqabba and another goal in their 2-1 victory over Sliema, Dos Santos Calcado was the obvious choice for this month’s award.

Tanya Gravina, Manager Marketing at Bank of Valletta will present the BOV Player of the Month Trophy for January 2012 to the player before Balzan’s upcoming match against Birkirkara this Sunday.
