Birkirkara are just two points away from securing the BOV Women’s League championship for the fourth time in the history of the club following a 1-1 draw with Mosta on Tuesday.

Hibernians were awarded a walk-over in the game against Raiders (Luxol).

Birkirkara lead the way on 42 points, followed by Mosta on 34, Hibs 32, Gozo 25, Pembroke 16, Raiders (Luxol) 10 and Marsa 0.

In the BOV Women’s Second Division, St. Venera Yellow Blues defeated Lija / Iklin 5-0, Tarxien Rainbows beat Zejtun Corinthians 6-0 while Melita and Kirkop United shared the spoils in a 1-1 draw.
