Pembroke Athleta keep marching on in the BOV Third Division as they beat Marsa 3-0 while no less than six teams continue fighting for the two remaining promotion spots.

Fgura United beat Sirens 6-2, Mgarr United defeated Marsaskala 4-1, Mdina Knights lost 1-2 to Santa Lucia.

Ghaxaq beat Qrendi 4-1 while wooden-spoonists Kalkara brought to an end their disappointing run by ending Xghajra Tornados’ unbeaten run, beating them 4-2. In another match, Mtarfa collected another three points in a 1-0 win over Swieqi United.

Pembroke lead the way with 58 points, followed by Fgura on 53, Mgarr 46, Ghaxaq 44, Mdina and Santa Lucia 42, Xghajra 39, Swieqi 27, Marsaskala 25, Sirens 23, Mtarfa 18, Qrendi 17, Marsa 13 and Kalkara 8.
