Ghedin, Farrugia name provisional squads

The Malta senior national team and the Under-21 side will be in action in the first days of June in a friendly match and two European championship qualifiers.

The Malta A team takes on Luxembourg in a friendly match on Saturday 2nd June while the Under-21 side plays two UEFA Under-21 Championship qualifiers away from home to Slovenia and Sweden on Friday 1st and Wednesday 6th respectively.

National team coach Pietro Ghedin named a provisional squad of twenty four players for the Luxembourg friendly. Back in the squad are Cleavon Frendo, Dyson Falzon, Joseph Zerafa and John Mintoff while two new faces are Hibernians defender Ryan Camilleri and Melita striker Julian Galea.

The 24 players are:
