Danilo Doncic appointed Tarxien Rainbows coach

Tarxien Rainbows appointed Danilo Doncic as their new coach. The decision was taken during a meeting of the committee which was held on Wednesday during which the committee unanimously agreed to appoint him as the new coach.

Doncic started his coaching career with First Division side San Gwann in season 2006/07. The following season, he was appointed coach of Floriana.

In July 2008, he moved to Bulgaria joining PFK Lokomotiv Sofia as assistant coach of the first time. Doncic then joined Greek top division side Kavala as assistant coach in June 2010. He moved to Malta in January 2011, joining Sliema Wanderers the following month.

In a statement, Tarxien Rainbows wished Danilo Doncic success and thanked Patrick Curmi for the work done at the club over the past months.

Curmi had joined the Rainbows in October, taking over from Noel Coleiro.
