Michael Woods appointed Hibernians coach

Hibernians Football Club have appointed Michael Woods as their new coach.

Woods had already served as assistant coach of Hibernians during season 2001/02 when they won the Premier League title. Later, he coached St. George’s and Floriana.

As a player, Michael Woods played for Hibernians between 1984/85 and 1986/87. He returned with the Paolites in 1992/93. During his second spell with Hibs, he won two Premier League titles, the Super Cup and the Player of the Year Award.

In a statement, the Hibernians FC Executive Committee wished him success in this new experience as Hibs coach.
