Marco Buttigieg was confirmed as coach of Second Division side St. Venera Lightnings.

Malcolm Borg was confirmed coach of the Youth team while Michael Zammit is the assistant to the two coaches.

Meanwhile Daniel Abela was appointed as the new St. Venera Lightnings president with Simon Buhagiar serving as secretary and Jesmond Xuereb as treasurer following the club’s Annual General Meeting.

George Mercieca is the vice-president, Alfred Scerri and Henry Micallef assistant secretaries and Rennie Briffa assistant treasurer.

Joe Vella is club director, Joseph Borg PRO, Jesmond Xuereb and Joseph Borg will serve as kit manager and assistant kit manager respectively. Johann Vella and Raymond Farrugia are the team managers. The other two members of the committee are Dr Daniel Buttigieg and Michael Zammit.
