Valletta target win in Andorra

After registering a record 8-0 win in the first leg last week, Valletta will be aiming for another win in Andorra on Tuesday as they face FC Lusitans in the second leg of the UEFA Champions League first qualifying round at the Estadi Comunal in Andorra la Vella.

While qualification for the second qualifying round is all but sealed, a win is of utmost importance for the Citizens as it would enable them to continue improving their ranking.

Coach Mark Miller has the full squad at his disposal but he could opt to rest some players ahead of next week’s clash which is definitely a more difficult test. The Citizens would be hosting Serbian giants FK Partizan Belgrade next Tuesday in the first leg of the second qualifying round.
