Naxxar Lions Youth Nursery participated in a training camp in Sicily during the month of July, involving three of their teams, namely the Under-9, Under-10 and Under-11. The players also played a good number of friendly matches against some Sicilian teams and obtained some very excellent results, winning most of the matches played. A special training session was also held with two former Malta international players.

In the mean time, the Naxxar Lions Youth Nursery is already accepting applications from new players, aged 5 to 16 years old, who wish to join the club for the upcoming season. The Nursery is housed at the artificial turf pitch at ‘Giovanni Curmi Secondary School’ in Naxxar.
