On the other hand, Brazilian striker Anderson Mendes Ribeiro started his career in Brazil before moving to Ukraine to play for FC Arsenal Kharkiv, FC Helios Kharkiv, FC Metalist Kharkiv and FC Kharkiv. He arrived in Malta in summer 2009 and after a succesful season with Tarxien Rainbows, he moved back to Ukraine to play for Metalurh Zaporizhya. However last summer, Ribeiro returned to Malta to join Hamrun Spartans.
