Clive Mizzi is no longer the coach of Sliema Wanderers after handing his resignation on Tuesday.

Mizzi, who had replaced Danilo Doncic as Sliema coach earlier this summer, opted to resign over an issue with which he did not agree.

With the kick-off of the Premier League less than ten days away, the Wanderers must be quick to appoint a new coach.

After starting his career as a coach in the Pietà Hotspurs nursery, Clive Mizzi led the Hotspurs’ first team before joining Mqabba. With the latter, he won promotion to the Premier League, leading them in the top division last season.
