Birkirkara secured the services of Malta Under-21 international Zach Muscat from Pietà Hotspurs.

Muscat, who will be 19 years old in a few days’ time played for St. Andrews and Melita before joining the Pietà Nursery. With the Hotspurs, he made his debut at senior level in the First Division.

Meanwhile the Stripes have released Brazilian defender Rodrigo Frank Pereira.

On the other hand, Shaun Bajada, who is out of contract after his contract with the Stripes expired, is expected to join champions Valletta.
