Four friendlies for national teams

Three representative teams, including the senior side, are braced to play four friendly matches over the next few weeks. These matches are in preparation for the competitive commitments of the various teams.

The Malta Under-21 side is due to play the Italian Serie B Under-21 side at the Hibernians Stadium on Tuesday 23 October at 19:00.

The Malta Women’s national team will be involved in two friendly games against Estonia on the 9th and 11th November. Both matches will be played at the Centenary Stadium. On Friday 9th November, the game will kick-off at 15:00 while on Sunday 11th November, the match is scheduled for 18:45.

On the other hand, the senior team will face Liechtenstein at the Rheinpark Stadium in Vaduz at 19:00 on the 14th of November. It will be the second time Malta plays Liechtenstein this year with the first match being won by our national team with a 2-1 score line.

Meanwhile for the Under-21 clash against the Italian Serie B Under-21 side, coach Ray ‘Zazu’ Farrugia named the following players:
