BOV Division 2: Third consecutive win for Zebbug Rangers

Leaders Zebbug Rangers maintained a two-point lead on top the BOV Second Division table as they registered a 3-0 win over Kirkop United at the Sirens Stadium on Saturday. This was the third successive win for Jesmond Zammit’s side.

In another match at the same venue, Zurrieq returned to winning ways as they beat St. Patrick 1-0.

Pembroke Athleta kept the pace with Zebbug as they defeated Siggiewi 3-0 at the Charles Abela Stadium.

Gharghur and Mellieha earned a point each as they shared the spoils in a 2-2 draw in another match in Mosta.

St. George’s and San Gwann earned a point each in a 1-1 draw at the Luxol Stadium while Mgarr United registered their first win as they beat St. Venera Lightnings 3-0 at the Luxol Stadium.

Zebbug lead the way with 17 points, followed by Pembroke on 15, St. George’s and Fgura 13, Msida 11, San Gwann 10, Zurrieq 9, Mellieha, Kirkop, St. Patrick 7, St. Venera 6, Siggiewi and Mgarr 5, Gharghur 4.
