One match ban for Duncan Pisani

Floriana defender Duncan Pisani was the only player from the BOV Premier League to be suspended by the MFA Disciplinary Commissioner following the weekend’s matches.

Pisani is ruled out of the Greens’ next game against Sliema Wanderers on Monday.

Floriana president Justin Attard and Melita coach Patxi Salinas were banned for one match after being sent off during the game between Melita and Floriana on Saturday. Hibernians coach Michael Woods was, on the other hand, suspended for two matches.

In Division 1, Emmanuel Muscat (Dingli), Francis Owusu and Ivan Kurtusic (Gudja), Luke Vella Critien (Vittoriosa) and Chaib Hamza (Zejtun) were handed a one-match suspension. Gudja United kit-manager Roderick Sghendo was banned for three months – until February 13, 2013.

Neil Curmi (Fgura), Keith Fedele (Gharghur), Cris Abela (Mgarr), James Borg and Peter Xuereb (San Gwann), Rodnick Ellul (St. Patrick) and Mark Muscat (Sta. Venera) were banned for one match in Division 2.

On the other hand, Josef Felice (Marsa), Jonathan Grech (Sirens) and Glendon Refalo (Swieqi) were suspended for one match in Division 3.
