Youth FA General Secretary Joe Micallef said that players coming from the twenty nurseries will be playing in mixed teams. He said one of the main objectives of the festival is an educational one and therefore children are mixing and playing together.

Micallef explained that the Infetti Training Grounds will be divided into a number of stations where the young participants, aged 7 and 8, will take part in fun games under the supervision of established players.

The festival will be held on a 5-a-side basis according to the guidelines of the MFA Technical Centre.

He thanked all the participating nurseries for their support to this event which he said will definitely be another success.

Mrs. Margaret Abela said it was a pleasure to have this event being organised once again in order to raise funds for L-Istrina. Such events give satisfaction to those taking part and give courage to those people in need. She said the Community Chest Fund depended of the generosity of companies and the general public and appealed for more companies to organise events.

Mrs. Abela thanked Eurosport and appealed to the general public to support this event.
